The War Rock Begins

K2 Network announced today that the online, tactical, military-themed FPS, War Rock, is now available. The game is being sold via two different methods: K2 Network's Free2Play model and a premium edition sold in brick-and-mortar stores.

"Gamers now have the opportunity to experience the intensity of modern day warfare through the online battlegrounds of War Rock," commented Producer Matt Norton, "We look forward to building the War Rock community with tournaments and new content that will make War Rock one of the premier gaming destinations online".

Using K2 Network's Free2Play method, players will have the choice of signing up for a premium bronze, silver, or gold subscription package. The different packages come with different XP bonuses and starting Dinars. Furthermore, the gold package comes with a fifth weapon slot to make your mass slaughter all the easier The boxed edition of the game includes a manual, a full-color map book, and limited edition War Rock dog tags. Gamers who purchase the boxed copy will be given access to all the benefits of a gold level membership for two months. After that, they will have to fend for themselves.

Created by South Korean developer Dream Execution Technology, War Rock is now available online at www.warrock.net or at retail stores for a suggested price of $29.99.
